What's On Your Mind?

For everyone that is on Facebook this question is posed: "what's on your mind?" Recently a friend of mine messaged me on Facebook. Here is the conversation as follows.

Friend: "Good to see you on FB."
Deborah: "Hey so good to hear from you after all these years, how y?"
Friend: "Still praising God the best way I know how but Keeping in mind how filthy and wretched I can be, it keeps me on the right path from destruction."
Deborah: "Girl any of us are subject to being filthy and wretched...but keep your mind on the righteousness of Christ and what He did for you on Calvary. Are you going to church and where? That always helps to keep us grounded in the things of the lord. The Lord has brought you a mighty long way girl. Think on these things...whatever is good, lovely, pure and worthy of praise...Philippians 4:7-8...love ya have a good night...Deborah"

I know for a fact that many times we can have the worst thoughts rolling around up there in our minds. As children of the Most High God it should not be so. Really? what's on your mind? What do you spend your time thinking about? I just want to encourage you to think on the things that will encourage you and even put a smile on your face.

Paul in the Scriptures helps us to do just that. Philippians 4:7-8 NKJ says, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate (think) on these things."

So turn your thoughts and your conversations around to be more positive and power packed with faith, hope, love and action. Someone once said:
Watch your Thoughts, they become words.
Watch your Words, they become actions.
Watch your Actions, they become habits.
Watch your Habits, they become character.
Watch your Character, for it becomes your Destiny.

Now, what's on your mind?
